High-Pressure Leak Solutions

HPLS products are split repair clamps designed for the repair of leaks in pipelines carrying high-pressure fluids. HPLS products are installed over the pipe and bolted in place for temporary repairs. For permanent repairs, the clamp must be welded to the pipe while the line remains in operation, in accordance with applicable welding procedures.
Standard units are equipped with Buna-N seals, suitable for temperatures ranging from -40°F to 257°F (-40°C to 125°C). Neoprene seals or other elastomers can be supplied upon request. To prevent seal displacement during installation, the seals are fitted with retaining fingers.

Design developed using criteria and references from ASME Section VIII and API-8H.

Body Material: ASTM A216 WCC cast steel
Fasteners: ASTM A193 Grade B7 studs and ASTM A194 Grade 2H nuts
Manufacturing Process: Casting, machining, and industrial finishing in accordance with common manufacturing practices for pressure applications

Quality Control
PIRESO implements a quality control system focused on ensuring dimensional, material, and functional conformity of supplied products, in accordance with common practices in the Oil & Gas industry. Quality control includes, as applicable:
• Visual inspection of the finished product to verify the absence of visible defects, deformations, cracks, or surface discontinuities.
• Dimensional verification of critical components according to design drawings and technical specifications.
• Material verification in accordance with the specification indicated on the technical data sheet.
• Documentation review of the supplied product.
All parts are hydrostatically tested at 1.5 times their maximum operating pressure.
